Day 01: Pick up at Tribhuvan international airport & Transfer to The hotel. brief about the trip. overnight stay at Hotel.
Days 02: Flight from KTM – Lukla. Trek to Phakding (2,652m).
After an early b/fast, we hop down to the airport for an early scenic flight to Lukla, it will take a around 35/40-minute – Lukla is at an altitude of 2865m from sea level. this is the Eastern region of Nepal – the flight provides memorable views of the terraced countryside and river valleys below, as well as some close perspectives of some of the world’s highest mountains; on touchdown, our trip is followed with a hike to Phakding, (2650m). After a cool afternoon’s scenic walk, we will stay at a cosy lodge in Phakding. [this takes around ¾ hours). There are many different types of lodges in Phakding that range from standard Hotels, resort types, and simple clean lodges. We choose the best for your first overnight on the trail. Days 03: Phakding to Namche (3,440m) – 5-6 hrs
After breakfast at around 8 am, we walk through superb forest of rhododendron with memorable views of the river side, where your nature-filled journey concludes at Namche Bazaar (5/6 hrs from Phakding). While hiking through this long and often-steep passage, we enjoy both the peacefulness and scenery of blue pine forests, firs, and junipers – all serving as the foreground to the beautiful background that is Mount Everest and other green hillocks. Day 04: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
After a hearty morning b/fast, we will go for a hike to Everest View Hotel, where we can get some of the best views of Mt. Everest and the whole Himalaya range. The sunrise and sunsets from hereabouts is spectacular. After several hours we return back to our hotel and rest. At eventide, we will enjoy the beauty of Namche’s charming village that’s like more of a town as well as the friendliness and hospitality of its local people. Trekkers may also visit the local museum containing exhibits displaying the area’s native flora and fauna and then hike around the Namche Market and enjoy the bartering of wares among the local folks. Days 05: Namche to Thame (3,800m)
From Namche the route turns west and the trail is almost level as we head up the Bhote Kosi Valley, once a well known trading route into Tibet. Along the way we pass many prayer flags and mani stones, all pinpointing to the Tibetan Buddhist culture of this area. After descending to the Bhote Kosi the trail climbs steeply to Thame. From here there are luvla views of the peaks of Teng Kangpoche and Kwangde. To the north is the Nangpa La, the pass leading to Tibet. Thame Gompa is situated above the village overlooking the valley and is the site for the spring merriment of the Mani Rimdu festival. Overnight at your lodge
Days 06: Thame to Khunde
Today we enjoy some wonderful hiking by exploring the villages in Khunde with a visit to the Khunde monastery. Its nice to interact with the monks who offer us salted butter tea and tell us their stories of these great mountains. We also get deep insights into the cultural aspects of this region by interacting with the local folks. We can also visit a local school built by the Sir Edmund Hillary Trust for the development of this village. Overnight at our lodge in this quiet village
Days 07: Khunde to Khumjung (3,780m)
Ascending from Namche Bazaar, we pass the airstrip at Syangboche and the Japanese-built Everest View Hotel. From the hotel, there are magnificent views of the valley and Everest. We walk to the picturesque village of Khumjung with many old traditional houses as well as a gompa at the top end of town. At the nearby village of Khunde, is the famous hospital built by Sir Edmund Hillary, an important center of health care in the region. Overnight at our lodge
Days 08: Khumjung to Tengboche (3,870m)
Tengboche sits on a saddle at 3870m in an open area surrounded by dwarf fires and beautiful rhododendron trees. We get some fantastic views of Kwongde (6187m) Tawache(6542m) Everest (8848m) Nuptse (7855m) Lhotse (8618m) Amadablam (6856m) Thamserku (6608m) which give us some amazing panorama of Himalayan giants. We visit the Buddhist Monastery at Tengboche, the largest in the Khumbu region. Overnight at our lodge
Days 09: Tengboche to Monjo: Trek back to Monjo
In the morning after b/fast, we check out from Tengboche monastery and the nearby museum. In the afternoon we retrace our steps downhill through the beautiful forest of juniper, rhododendron and fir to Phunkitenga. After you cross the Dudh Koshi, we ascend steeply to Trashinga. From here the trail contours high above the valley to Shanasa. The walk also heads past the Everest View Hotel and the Syangboche airstrip before dropping into Namche where we have lunch. In the afternoon we descend steeply and then walk along the river bank back to Jorsale where we leave the national park before continuing to Monjo. Stay overnight at lodge.
Days 10: Monjo to Lukla, Last day of the trek in a bustling town as we enjoy dinner with our Trekking crew
We re-trace our steps along the Dudh Koshi, crossing the western bank at Benkar. It is a beautiful and easy walk through blue pine and rhododendron forest, back-dropped with views of Kusum Kangaru. An early lunch at Phakding and in the afternoon we ascend out of the river valley back to the airstrip. In the evening, a farewell dinner will be followed by a few celebratory drinks and dancing with our Sherpa companions. Stay overnight at our lodge.
Days 11: Flight from Lukla - KTM, transfer to hotel Kathmandu free day, evening culture show with a local Nepalese dinner
After a good breakfast, we get packing to head to the airstrip to hop our flight to Kathmandu. We check into our hotel and the day is free to do as you like. Maybe you can do some shopping for the loved ones at home. At eventide, we visit one of the best Nepalese restaurants in town for sumptuous Nepalese dinner accompanied by a cultural dance performed by the local belles. You will enjoy this evening. Days 12: Final departure, transfer to airport
